John F. Jastrem, 57, has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Callison Architecture Holding, LLC and Subsidiaries “CAH”, an international architecture and design firm, since January 2011 and previously as executive chairman since August 2010 and served as a CAH board director since 2006. Previously, he joined Viad Corp. (Viad, NYSE: VVI) in October 2006 as Chief Executive Officer of Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, a division of Viad. During his tenure with Viad he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer and President of Viad Corp’s Marketing & Events group and GES Exposition Services. Jastrem merged and rebranded, GES Exposition Services, Exhibitgroup/Giltspur and Becker Group into one global company, Global Experience Specialists, Inc.

Previously, Jastrem was an executive for eight years with Omnicom

Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC), where he started in 1998 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rapp Collins Worldwide-Dallas – the global leader in direct response

marketing and database management – and served as President of The Marketing Arm, a leading experiential marketing company. He concluded his tenure as an executive of DAS Corporate, a division of Omnicom, overseeing 182 companies generating $6.5 billion in annual revenue. Prior to his tenure at Omnicom Jastrem served as Sr. VP, COO and CFO of Knapp Communications Corporation (the publisher of Architectural Digest and Bon Appétit magazines), and as an executive at Wickes Companies Inc., an international retailer manufacturer. Jastrem began his career with Andersen where he served for eight years and was a Senior Manager in the Los Angeles Office.

His experience as a chief executive officer and senior executive at large global public companies, his experience as an entrepreneur in private organizations and his strong background and expertise in the areas of marketing, sales, corporate finance, strategic planning, management and as a Certified Public Accountant, enable him to provide valuable leadership and support to many boards, including serving as a member of compensation and audit committees.

Jastrem currently serves on the boards of Callison Architecture Holding, LLC, Hancock Technology Partners and Applied Discovery, Inc, as well as several advisory boards. He proudly served for many years on the boards of Medquist Inc., (NASDAQ-listed “MEDQ”) and Mathews Studio Equipment, (NASDAQ-listed “MATT”). He has been an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization and World Presidents’ Organization, (YPO & WPO) since 1994, and currently serves as Regional Chair for the Deal Network.
